Elayna Waxse – Dance

Bio

Elayna Waxse is a Twin Cities-based performer, dance educator, and choreographer who hails from Overland Park, Kansas.Waxse has worked professionally with Minnesota Dance Theatre, Colorado Ballet, Black Label Movement, BodyCartography Project, and TU Dance. In addition to performing, Waxse’s choreographic work has been supported by Minnesota Dance Theatre, University of Minnesota Opera Theatre, Threads Dance Project, Ballet Minnesota’s MN Dance Festival, St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists, The School at TU Dance Center, Zenon Dance Zone, Detroit Dance Race, and Public Functionary. She currently is on faculty teaching contemporary dance at the University of Minnesota. Waxse is a 2019 recipient of the McKnight Fellowship for Dancers.
