Bio
Angela Pelster is a 2021 McKnight Artist Fellow, judged by Hanif Abdurraqib, and her first essay collection “Limber” was a finalist for the PEN Award for the Art of the Essay. Her work has previously appeared in LitHub, Ploughshares, Tin House, Granta, and The Kenyon Review amongst others. She’s been a Bread Loaf Fellow in nonfiction, a Minnesota State Arts Board grantee, and was an Iowa Arts fellow during her MFA at the University of Iowa. She’s an associate professor at Hamline University, and her new book, “The Entanglements,” is forthcoming with Mad Creek Books in fall 2022.
